Planning Executive

About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Planning Executive to join our Marketing to support in the co-ordination of the seasonal marketing plans and forecasting process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Co-ordination of up to date seasonal marketing plans:
  • Action Chain
  • AV Media
  • Digital
  • Promotional plans
  • Costs.
  • Production of various weekly reports including Marketing KPI Tracker, CRM Report, CRM Costs Report and Schematics.
  • Support in all aspects of the quarterly marketing forecasting process; including the planning timeline and the coordination of inputs.
  • Close liaison and relationship building with broader departmental teams including but not exclusive to B&M, CRM, Digital, Insights, Finance.
  • Raise and manage publication codes for all brands.
  • Submit weekly order forecasts for each brand to support contact centre forecasting and seasonal planning.
  • Support Marketing Planning Managers in:
  • Producing analysis and reporting to identify risks and opportunities in seasonal plans and current performance
  • Making channel and brand mix investment decisions including using third party software to produce different scenarios
  • Producing forecasts with opportunities to develop skills in using statistical software
  • Delivering projects linked to annual objectives.

About you

Skills required for this role include:-

  • Experience in relevant areas of CRM marketing
  • Educated in Marketing, Business Studies to A Level or Degree Level, OR have relevant experience
  • High level of drive and motivation
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy
  • Strong numerical skills and high competency levels in excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work individually or as part of a team
