Financial Services Quality Assessor - FTC for upto 12 months

About the role

We have a new vacancy for a Quality Assessor to join the Financial Services team. This is a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave for up to 12 months.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on performance against regulatory requirements including but not limited to CONC, Data Protection, Complaint recording and DISP, Vulnerability identification and TCF

• Work with Operational Managers to identify and escalate incidents and breaches, initiate remediation principles ensuring any customer detriment is swiftly resolved

• Completing 2nd line audits on FGH’s activities completed by FGH’s outsourcer and provide feedback

• Identify and report root causes of monitoring failures including inadequacies in processes or systems Ensuring any trends identified and reasons are explored. Findings are to be reported to the Team   Manager to support a culture of continuous improvement

• Attend and engage in regular calibration sessions as part of the ongoing development and to ensure consistency

• Ensure policies and controls are adhered to

• Good understanding and knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, including monitoring principles

• Good understanding of the principles of TCF

• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, Financier & Charter

• Experience of working with other stakeholders, suppliers and 3rd parties

• Understand and maintain knowledge of system applications required for role

• Skills & expertise in Quality Monitoring/Assurance • Excellent planning and organising skills

• A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills

• Tenacity and confidence to raise queries or concerns to ensure quality standards are maintained

• Strong analytical skills • Knowledge and awareness of collections and financial difficulties requirements HR Team V1.1 – November 2022

• Communicate results and findings with partner teams and senior managers to improve service delivery and regulatory compliance

• To act in accordance with the principle of treating customers fairly, and with integrity and full regard to all the FCA requirements

 

About you
