Data Analyst
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Date Analyst to join our team to proactively support the Innovations and Analytics Manager in preparation and provision of Management Information to both internal and external customers
Role Responsibilities
- Support in developing and delivering standard and routine Buying and Merchandising MI reports in line with the reporting calendar and in response to ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Deliver complex ad-hoc reporting requirements in a timely fashion.
- Support the delivery of predictive analytics
- Participate in requirement gathering workshops.
- Support the delivery of statistical information, interpretation of data and the presentation of Management Information to meet the needs of internal customers.
- Collection, and management large datasets using various tools: Excel, Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL.
- Analysis of data to ensure it is fit for purpose and feedback to customers on any issues or changes required.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the development, delivery and maintenance of Buying and Merchandising MI reporting.
- Liaise with a wide range of staff at all levels within the Division and externally.
- Undertake other duties as may be determined and agreed by the Innovations and Analytics Manager
